How To Handle A Rainy Day Shoot

Gary Fong shows how he turned a parking lot on an ugly day into a beautiful background for portraiture. Using one Phottix Odin Slave Master and receiver (on a Canon 580exII) he set the slave on HSS (High speed sync) mode, Set the camera on “M” and increased the shutter speed to 1/8000 sec. This made the background dramatically underexposed for high impact.
